The State Hospital Asylum Hanging Sign will be the first thing your visitors will see when hung up in a prominant location. For the best impact, hang in the entrance to your themed event location, unless you’re using this as home decor. In which case, place near your front door to scare away those you don’t want to see.
The frame is made from solid wood and then painted black. The backboard is a hardwood ply hand painted a cloudy grey with black vinyl graphics attached. The whole sign is covered in bloody guts (fake obviously), and coated with a clear matt lacquer making it water resistant and weather proof. Due to the nature of this item, it is highly recommended to keep out of direct light including sunlight and away from harsh weather elements. This will give it a much longer life than the patients that are splattered over it. It is designed to look like it is slightly weathered as making it look brand new would be boring!
